What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms and email
When a visitor uses the contact form on our website or sends an email to an acyoga.co.uk email address, the submitted name, email address and message are only retained and used for the purpose of responding to the enquiry by default.
If the option to receive updates and offers is also ticked on the contact form, or has been explicitly requested in an email message to A C Yoga, the contact details are also retained indefinitely in a mailing list for future communications.
Subscription to updates and offers
By opting to subscribe to offers and updates, visitors are permitting AC Yoga to retain their details in a mailing list for the purpose of future communications from A C Yoga only.
Details are retained indefinitely unless a request to unsubscribe is recieved. Subscribers can request that their details be removed from the mailing list at any time by emailing email@example.com. Please use the subject heading “A C Yoga – Unsubscribe”.
Bookings and payments
By booking a private session or a place in a group class with A C Yoga, participants are agreeing to their name, email address, confirmation that they have read and understood the waiver, and their subscription status being retained by A C Yoga.
A C Yoga will also retain records of booking payment amounts owing and received from participants as required by UK law for income and revenue purposes. Payments are made through a secure third party (see “Service Providers” below) who shares no personal account details with A C Yoga.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

Additional cookies are used when a website administrator logs in to the site to amend website content (see “Cookies used for website administrators and editors only” below). These cookies are not stored on the devices of standard visitors.
Cookies used for website administrators and editors only
If you are an administrator or editor visiting our login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, several cookies are set to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Mailchimp is used to maintain subscriptions to mailing lists, and to issue newsletters and share updates and offers with those subscribed. This service is only used if a visitor provides an email address and opts in to receive news, updates and offers.

Google Forms are used to book places in group classes. Information collected includes name, email address, subscription opt-in, and confirmation that the waiver has been read and understood.
Calendly is used to make private bookings. Information collected includes name, email address, subscription opt-in, and confirmation that the waiver has been read and understood.
